Making a lasting effect for God and his people is what drives my work. Over thirty years of leadership in non-profits and churches have given me a good lab to learn how to do that—and what not to do. Growing up on a working farm & ranch forced my family to deal with all kinds of challenges from an early age. My academic background has always been driven by understanding the reality we all face rather than prescribing a “new” solution to old problems. These elements include God’s immanence, our enemy’s tactics and how he works in our lives, the nature and components of organizations, and the rapid reading of culture. In Proverbs 19, it says that it’s not good to be without knowledge. These things (and others) are the core of what drives effective leadership. My hope with Core Eleven is to help illuminate your current reality and find usable solutions to leadership problems.
